Meet The Doctors

​​​​​Samiya Ahmad, MD is a fellowship-trained, dual board-certified pediatric neurologist and sleep medicine physician. Dr. Ahmad trained in pediatrics, pediatric neurology, and sleep medicine at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Ahmed spent 12 years in academic medicine, reaching the rank of Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Ahmad established Houston Pediatric Neurology and Sleep in 2023 to eliminate barriers between doctors and families, and to provide compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care.

​​​​​Sara Siddiqui, MD is a dual board-certified pediatric neurologist and epileptologist. She has expertise in the treatment of children with headaches, migraines, tics, seizures, epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurologic disorders. She enjoys getting to know her patients and families and providing personalized care.

Dr. Siddiqui grew up outside of Chicago and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in the biological sciences. She completed her medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago in 2015.  Dr. Siddiqui completed her pediatric neurology residency in Milwaukee at the Children's Hospital Wisconsin and Medical College of Wisconsin, and she completed her epilepsy fellowship at Dell Children's Hospital and University of Texas in Austin. After fellowship, Dr. Siddiqui served as an attending pediatric neurologist in Austin at the Child Neurology Consultants of Austin, until she moved to Houston in 2023 to be closer to her family. 

In her spare time, Dr. Siddiqui likes jogging, working out, and exploring the city with her husband and two children.
